Springtime Flowers

I walked out my front door the other day and this was what I saw.

My iris' had bloomed.

I love the color of these plants.

And I love this time of year when everything seems so much brighter and more colorful. Gary always takes such good care of our yard. This last weekend he planted our garden. I can't wait, fresh tomatos, summer squash and zucchini.

Isn't it SUCH a relief to start seeing blossoms and flowers after such a long, cold winter? :) We walked over to our old house (soon to be "new" house) to check out the backyard. Besides being COMPLETELY overrun with weeds, etc., there are calla lilies all over the place! What a welcome sight!
Miss you guys!

Those flowers are so pretty. I have been noticing lots of trees are starting to bloom.

I can't decide whether I'm happy for you or super angry at your insensitive post. Hello!! Some of us still have like a foot of snow outside! :) OK, I guess I can stick with just being happy for you. Jessica still talks about Katie. We'll have to stop by when we come through in May. Love ya!

You might want to be careful announcing the garden part, fresh vegatables coming! I know several rabbits who like to dig under walls, and love fresh vegies!!!!! Beautiful song by the way!
